About
Tagview is built in Australia by Sarastar.
We make the tagboard hardware and the cloud platform behind it, for mining operations that need to know who is on site.
Why we built it
The tag board does a serious job. We wanted it to do that job everywhere it’s needed.
A tag board at the portal is there so nobody fires while a person is underground, and so the mine can say who is underground when something goes wrong. It is simple and it works, right up until someone forgets to tag off, a shutdown brings in a hundred contractors, or the person who needs the answer is in the control room rather than at the portal.
Tagview keeps the ritual, tag on as you go in and tag off as you come out, and replaces the physical board with a UHF RFID reader and a platform that shows the same board to everyone who needs it: the control room, the crib room TV, the supervisor’s phone, and the safety manager’s history report.
We build the reader firmware and the platform together, so the things that break attendance systems on real sites, network drops, power cuts, timezones, contractor churn, are handled on the board and in the cloud rather than left to the installer.
What we stand for
People. Presence. Clarity.
People.
The system exists for the people on site. Tags carry a face and a name. Companies are real employers, not a free-text field. The wallboard shows people, not IDs.
Presence.
One engine decides who is tagged on, and every screen and alert asks it the same question. The board keeps its own record so the answer survives a bad network.
Clarity.
A supervisor should get the answer in a glance, and a safety manager should get the history without a support ticket. If a number could be wrong, we show why.

Ready to know who’s on site?
Every Tagview installation starts with a conversation about your sites, your boards and your people. Tell us about your operation and we’ll come back with a plan.
